How long is the Gestational Carrier (Surrogacy) process?
The entire process can take as little as 15 months. There are many variables with a gestational carrier cycle, and we take the necessary steps to fully educate you and set realistic expectations about being a surrogate mother.
Does compensation for a Gestational Carrier cycle vary?
For first time gestational surrogacy you are compensated $30,000. Approximately $10,000 additional compensation includes: uterine testing, start of medications, embryo(s) transfer, maternity clothing, monthly expenses and various other procedures during your gestational carrier journey. Will governmental assistance impact my ability to be a surrogate?
Yes, it is important you are financially stable and not receiving any governmental assistance. The compensation received by a gestational carrier may make her ineligible for future assistance from the government.
I have never been pregnant. Can I be a gestational carrier?
To be a gestational carrier you must have a minimum of one and up to four uncomplicated pregnancies and live births. More than two C-Sections would disqualify you from being a gestational carrier.
What if I don’t get pregnant with the first embryo transfer?
If you don’t conceive with the first embryo transfer, you may agree with your intended parents to complete up to 3 embryo transfers. Typically, our gestational carriers will conceive within 1-2 embryo transfers!
Am I responsible for any of the costs before, during or after my gestational carrier cycle?
No, the intended parents pay for all of expenses related to your gestational carrier journey.
What happens after I give birth?
The intended parents will be responsible and care for their baby. Your responsibility is taking care of yourself. Thank you for giving the most amazing gift to the parents, a baby!
